VersaPOS™ Enterprise enables retailers to control operations across stores from a central location. Its main features are mentioned below:

1. Organization Structure

The organization structure helps to define various levels of hierarchy across stores. It enables the user to declare elements for each level and assign rules for specific levels in the hierarchy. In addition, the price of the inventory items can be changed based on the cost variation in a specific region. It allows you to manage activities like viewing quantity on hand (QOH), managing inventory count and generating reports for individual stores located in different regions.

2. Supply Chain Management (SCM)

The SCM function manages the consolidated stock requirement from every store. It prompts for stock replenishment when the inventory level dips below a certain minimum level, also referred to as the re-order level. The re-order level can be defined by the user for every item and a purchase order can be created automatically. Using the feature, stock can be received at a central location from where it is distributed to the respective stores. The status of the stock delivered to each store can be tracked. Retailers can also avail of better deals from vendors by placing orders in bulk.

3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

It allows retailers to maintain an extensive database of customers visiting the store based on customer demographics by capturing the relevant details of the customers. The feature enables you to introduce a frequent shopping program that lets frequent shoppers to earn points on their purchases and avail of discount. In doing so, retailers can monitor the shopping trends and use them to their advantage. The feature facilitates creation of standard email templates, informing customers about various discounts and promotions and helps in responding to customer queries.

4. Inventory Management

VersaPOS™ Enterprise centrally tracks the inventory for the stores that form a part of the retail chain. It lets you initiate a stock transfer between stores and subsequently check the transit status of the stock. Besides, users can schedule and conduct an audit by tallying the inventory at individual stores with the specifications laid down by the corporate level. In order to meet the specifications, inventory at individual stores can be adjusted. Furthermore, the batch of defective inventory can be recalled to a centralized distribution centre from individual stores, to be finally returned to the vendor.

5. Controlled Store Operations

This feature is useful in declaring and disseminating parameters or a set of guidelines to individual stores from a central location. This obviates the need for manually assigning the parameters to each store. The parameters include defining the extent of discount and promotions that stores can offer in different regions and deciding tender amounts for gift certificates. Besides, it also enables the user to generate and distribute gift certificates to different stores based on the sales analysis of the region. Using VersaPOS™ Enterprise, user can decide the credit limit for each store and set various parameters required to validate credit and gift cards. Retailers can assign functions to various groups in POS and set tender types for each store in the region.

6. Data Consolidation and Reporting

VersaPOS™ Enterprise keeps a track of the transaction details of every store and generates reports for individual stores located in different regions. This is helpful in sales trend analysis and comparative study of the sales data. The reports can be generated in various formats like Ms Word, Ms Excel and PDF. In addition, the system gives information about top-selling items and also the items with receding demand.
